In the first instance the addresses submitted to us are checked in regard to completeness and plausibility as well as duplicates. Temporary addresses (e.g. correctional facilities, hospitals) are filtered out. This information is sent back to you free of charge. Research is then started according to our transparent research system.

If a research level is completed successfully, research costs incur. In case of no success, no costs are charged for research levels I to II+. In case the person searched for cannot be located in level I, II and II+, the inquiry passes on to research level III (inquiry with residents’ registration office) and for European inquiries to level III+. Unsuccessful address researches or undeliverable addresses from your datastock can be taken over into the so-called Monitoring which is a long-term monitoring covering up to 30 years. |
Each address submitted to us is checked in regard to deliverability. Each new address runs through a multi-level process. For part of the addresses we can already assure deliverability electronically. In the remaining cases we conduct a deliverabilty check in writing, i.e. we send a letter containing sender’s instructions to the new address. If our letter is not returned to us within a stipulated time, the address is considered to be deliverable. This way returns can be reduced to a minimum. |
